"Sixty's Island"
This painting was donated to "Putting on the Dog" which is a benefit to raise money for the Towns and Union counties Humane Society shelter. Our dog, Sixty, used to love boat rides and we would stop at this island in the middle of Lake Nottely in Union County and he would run around exploring every rock and tree.
Unfortunately, in this part of the country, a lot of people drop off the pets they no longer want. Fortunately, someone dropped Sixty off near our place just in time for him to find us on Al's 60th birthday!
The Humane Society does a fabulous job here, I hope this little painting brings a lot of money.
